I am passionate about women creating possibility in regional and rural areas. The city isn’t necessarily a better place to have a career, run a business, or raise a family.
The thing that sets me apart is that I am what I preach. My diverse and varied career background has been possible in regional Australia and I have experienced many of the challenges and joys that regional people describe.
At times in my career, I have been the only woman in the room. I have also worked in female-dominant industries where the only men have been in the executive roles. I know how crucial it is to have diversity in leadership – and how organisations prosper when they do.
I am experienced in the non-profit, statutory and community sectors, and I have over 30 years’ experience including as a chief executive. I have tertiary qualifications in executive and organisational coaching, business (labour management) and social welfare.
I am a Fellow of the Australia New Zealand Institute of Managers and Leaders (formerly AIM), a credentialled coach with the International Coach Federation, and am a Femeconomy approved provider.
