A Different Kind of Leadership Book
If you have been following my work for a while, you will know my writing focuses on helping leaders pause, reflect, and recalibrate. Essential skills for the 2020s and beyond.
Over the past year, I've been working on something that sits between a traditional leadership book and a personal journal. It's not structured around frameworks, models or strategies, like my previous books.
Instead, it's built on moments: the honest conversations I've had with senior leaders over the years — the ones that rarely make it into boardrooms or official development programs. A collection of my writing compiled in one beautiful place.
In this publication, I want to present my learning from listening, differently. A new format. A gift, if you will.
Inside my new book, you'll find handwritten notes. Some shorter pieces crafted to be picked up and returned to. Some poetry that sits alongside leadership insights. Making space for emotions and meaning in a world that often rushes past us.
It's a book for you to dip in and out of. One that encourages quiet thought, not just consumption. And it's deliberately designed that way — as a companion, not just a book.
Leadership is full of complexity. This is a space for stillness, quiet, and an almost tactile experience. For sense-making.
It's not quite ready for release, but it's coming. And in keeping with the gift theme, it will be released for a milestone birthday I am celebrating in the new year.
The book will be printed to order, and yes, you will be able to order bulk copies for client gifts (for my colleagues who have already asked).
I appreciate your patience with me as I compile this project built on love for leadership and the people who do it daily.
And if you'd like to be the first to know when pre-orders open, reply to this email, and I'll send you more soon.
Lead well.
